Indibloggies 2007: An opportunity missed!
Yup, in case you didn’t notice there were no 2007 Indibloggies. Sad, eh? But in a poll that hung on the home-page all this while, almost 50% of the readers expressed surprise or didn’t care for that at all. So I don’t think you noticed it either. And hence, this short announcement for record sake.
Before the prospective sponsors start citing recession as a reason for not pitching in (I am yet to reach out to the nice folks who committed last year), let me say that at least I am sorry that the 2007 event didn’t take place. Umpteen reasons I could cite, but I am sure none of you would be interested in the anecdotes. So here comes the crux…
At whatever scale it happens, the Indibloggies 2008 edition will unfold this month. After this post, you will encounter 2 more, swiftly refurbished, posts tomorrow one announcing the award categories and the other cajoling the sponsors
