Nice Blog!!! I thought I'd tell you about a site that will let give you places where
you can make extra cash! I made over $800 last month. Not bad for not doing much. Just put in your
zip code and up will pop up a list of places that are available. I live in a small area and found quite
a few. <a HREF="http://www.makemoneyfast.us/survey1.html" rel="nofollow">MAKE MONEY NOW</a>

Great job in setting up the IndiBlog Awards!

As a suggestion, it might be a good idea to have a critic's choice of Awards as well. It may or may not have prizes, but it might help to also name a critics' choice for each category. One, it would help to highlight quality that may not nescessarily be measurable in terms of votes. Two, not to take away from any of the blogs nominated, it is possible that the system is not fool-proof. There were certain comments that there might be certain issues with the voting system. To be fair to the blog(s) in question, this may not nescessarily have anything to do with the blogger(s) himself/herself. This is to merely point out that offering a critics' choice will help mitigate this problem as well.

I think 2004 has almost been 'the year of the blog'. These awards will help highlight this emerging trend. Excellent work rounding up sponsors, which I would imagine, is the hardest part. I think these awards will go a long way in highlighting the exceptional Indian blogs, of which there are quite a few.

As one of the jury member, I feel, I had to answer issues raised on some postings…

Voting on Indibloggies nominations are going to close in a day or two. So, better hurry up… else you will fume and whim and grind and so on… for not winning your favorite blog; as you are quirking for not getting nominated so-and-so best-blog or why so-so-and-so worst-blog had been nominated. So, get up from your sleep (month long sleep when nominations were open???) and act now rather than blaming everyone else for your ACT…

Well, the number of votes and bricks and mortars indibloggie award 2004 is getting - shows that it is already a hit and had a grand success…

But, mind you, this is only its second year and even Grammys and Acadamis have errors and omissions on their awards. Indibloggie is always open to suggestions and great ideas and everybody learns from its own mistakes… so there you are… Welcome your positive criticisms…

Unless we see personnel interest to push any Blog to win, is it really matter that indibloggie be remain anonymous or what? Further, managing things like indibloggie award side-by-side with one’s professional work for one’s living takes one’s real sweat and we have to forgive some small issues like bad interface etc. And most of the things were arranged from free resources of internet which may have their limitations. Again, if some one feels really bad, he/she is best welcome to come with some real solutions in hand…

Finally, we bloggers are writing no literary piece… so there you are… ample mistakes in grammar and even in spellings… hence absolutely no issue about the period I had not applied at the end of my sentences

Thanks to all of you…

Ravi

Hi,
The entire team of indibloggies has took an ingineous effort in organizing this wonderful event.

I tried to vote for my favorite blog, but it has let me in total frustation where i was denied the right to vote. Your pooling system says i have already voted. But to tell the truth this is the very first time i am visting this indibloggies site.

I request the technical team to look up with the pooling system and hence reclaim my right to vote.

This whole "awards" thing has been managed in a very amateur fashion. Even the site design is a sickly yellow. There are so many freely available poll scripts. Why didn't you use any of them? Lastly, why are you anonymous? It destroys the credibility of these awards.

Mr indiblogger, if you do not have the inclination, where are the other members of the team who can do it? Can someone help you with it? or help is not generally solicited? It seems all you are doing is based on your fancies. Things you do not like or are not comfortable with, you have a standard answer - no time.

Hello,
I has been an remarkable endeavor from the entire team of indiblog. The jurys selection of the blog has been really unbiased.

I would like to bring to the notice of the jury and organizers, "radioblog" has been given nomination as the "Best science/technology IndiBlog",radiohead looks like is fooling - his blog is 4 mths old and does not have even 5O postingsin all - he has just 5 to 6 postings in january.
The blog has only 50 posts in total but 250 votes in
3days.

I request people not to fool and get fooled. There is something wrong with the radiohead voting. If found guilty the blog author should be warned and disqualified.

If this scenario is going to continue its going to a total waste of the entire efforts of the indibloggies team. I request the committee to take prompt action at the earliest.

Thanks for all your efforts.

hi,

here's a scenario. users might want to view all the nominated blogs and then decide to cast their vote.

currently, when a user clicks on any category links given in the first fold, he gets directly taken to voting page.

you might want take the user to a category detail page where the user can view all the nominated blogs and then cast their vote.

what say?
cheer
muthu ;)
