Precursor to the Polls, meet the IB 2006 nominees »

Ladies and gentlemen, the game has begun (hear the drumroll?), Indibloggies is now inviting nominations from Indian Bloggers all over the World for the 2006 event. Indibloggers, here is your chance to showcase your blog to the whole world and win laurels from your peers and readers alike.

Nominations for 16 award categories would be open from 26^th January until 5^th February, 2007. At stake are prizes worth more than Rs 85000.

To nominate your blogs simply bookmark your blog/site at the social bookmarking service del.icio.us using some pre-defined Tags.
- If you want to nominate only few blogs please refer this 5 Step Quick guide.
- If you want to nominate many blogs or if you are a delicious power user please refer this 5 Step Guide instead.
Please don’t ask your friends or readers to nominated your blog for you multiple times, simply because Jurors don’t consider the count of nominations as any criteria for rating. Moreover, self-nomination is perfectly legal. Please beware that repeated nominations for the same blog may be treated as spamming and may lead to disqualification.

How will I know if I have nominate my blogs correctly. This year I am trying for best design and indicblog hindi and already nominate myself, just wanted to make sure.

is there any way to see all the blogs nominate in any particular category. I tried searching based on tag but didn’t see any

All the nominations are listed at http://del.icio.us/tag/ib06. If you have nominated using correct tags then it should show up here.

Category-wise nominations can be seen clicking on the “Related Tags” on the right side of the above mentioned page at del.icio.us.

Just FYI to the organizers and jurors, Del.icio.us search for ib06 doesn’t work well. The browse shows many more results than search. Search shows 245 blogs. Browse has more than 400. So if you just search, you will be discounting several hundred blogs.

the /tag/ indicates browse…

The correct link for the nomination listing should have been http://del.icio.us/tag/ib06. The additional peiod at the end of the link (in the previous comments) makes it land at the worng place.

I can find more blogs are nominated repeatedly for the same blog, how are you going to take that?. It look very bad !
