5 Step guide to nominating a Blog/Site

Here is a quick guide to nominating a blog/site using the del.icio.us interface directly. If you are nominating just one blog/site this is the path to follow.

Step 1: Login to your del.icio.us account and click on the “post” link as indicated above by the arrow.

Step 2: Type-in the URL or web-address of the blog or site you wish to nominate as shown above. Click “save”. Leave this web-page open.

Step 3: Open a new browser window or tab and go to the Tag-generator website. Now, select the appropriate award-category.

Step 4: Copy (Ctrl+c on Windows) the “tags” generate by the tool for you. Don’t make any changes in this tag text.

Step 5: Go back to the del.icio.us page we left open in Step (2). Fill in the Site Title in the “description field” and the reason you are nominating it in the “notes” field. Paste the “tags” we generated (Ctrl+v on Windows) in Step(4) on the “tags” field as indicated by the arrow above. Press “save” and you are done.
