DesipunditDesiPundit, the popular collaborative filter blog founded by Indian blogger Patrix in June 2005 tracks hundreds of major blog posts every day from the Indian blogosphere. Desipundit was adjudged the “Best Designed Indiblog” as well as the “Best Directory” at Indibloggies 2006 edition. In the 2005 edition the site had won in the “Best Directory” and “Best Group blog” award categories.

Indibloggies lauds the efforts of the Desipundit team for building a great tool for the community and are honored to have them in the “Indibloggies Hall of Fame” for their four consecutive wins.

LazygeekLazygeek aka Guru Subramanian’s blog is a one stop shop for anything and everything on the Tamil cinema. Guru has won thrice at the Indibloggies and is hitherto the only individual blogger to do so, “Best Media blog” in 2003, “Best Humanities blog” in 2004 and to top it all, the “Life time Achiever” award in 2005.

For his unparalleled fete Indibloggies is proud to have Guru Subramanian in the “Indibloggies Hall of Fame”.

Amit VarmaAmit Varma, author of the blog India Uncut and a Mumbai based journalist and novelist, is a maverick of quick posts and anything that starts with a “C”, cows and cricket for instance. Amit has won three times at the Indibloggies; in 2004 he won the “Best New Indiblog” award for India Uncut and the “Best Sports Blog” for Cricinfo: 23 Yards. In the following year 2005 he won the coveted “Indiblog of the Year” award.

Amit is also the winner of the 2007 Bastiat Prize for Journalism and was named by BusinessWeek magazine in its India’s 50 Most Powerful People 2009 list.
