Is there a place we can see the current vote status?
8. dharumi | January 7th, 2006 at 8:39 am
how come some sections are MANDATORY? that makes things tough since many of the ’sections’ as such are new to me but i want to vote for some specific sections only.
any way out?????

No, and isn’t that expected.

If ever you were planning to vote for gaurav, please read this post by him. He launches into a tirade against someone for no reason & look at the way he does it with no links to the guy whom he is accussing. Btw the guy he accuses happens to be nominated as well! Gaurav himself knew that he made a big mistake….look at the no of silly posts that he has made after that…just to remove that post from the main page. I have read every single post by Gaurav, stood by him during the IIPM fiasco, but reading his blog off late…looks like he thinks too much of himself…example: he refers us to Amit Varma’s India Uncut! wow![This comment has been edited by the site-owner]

Ah, so we have only one go at the vote & can’t vote again in the categories which we left out the first time!! quite odd!!
Debashish commented: And where in the world would you be allowed to vote twice in a single Poll like this Amit? I don’t think anybody of us would have assumed that we could change our votes later on. Email confirmation is just meant to enhance the legitimacy of votes.

Whatever it is…do not vote for a No comment blog. A no comment blog does disservice to you …it doesnt want your views , but it wants your hits to say…yeah i get so many hits a day.
Therefore, a NO COMMENT blog does NOT DESERVE your vote.

I would like to say this - What Gaurav Sabnis says in this context is true. he might not have known that I was a nominee, when he wrote the post critisizing me. So if you like his blog please vote for him.
After critising the politicians so much for slinging mud on each other without any principles, I do not want to compromise my principles by being one of them. It is incorrect to take every opportunity (fair or unfair) to malign someone else just to gain a silly vote advantage. It only indicates that we will not be different from those politicians when we are in their shoes.
All the best for all categories of nominees.
