Be a Juror!

Are you an ardent reader of Indian blogs? Are you one of those who is hooked on to the 100 feeds on Bloglines and yet cannot control his blog instincts to hop on to few more Desipundit links everyday and drop a comment or two here and there? Do blogs in Indian languages fascinate you? If you replied in affirmative to most of these, you stand a good chance to be a member of Jury at the Indibloggies 2005. This year we plan to have a real large jury, with atleast 25 members, the aim is to lay hands on as many deserving (wow, that’s a subjective term, still…) blogs as we can.

To apply for the position of a Jury member drop a mail to indibloggies at gmail dot com in confidence; tell us about you, how long you have been blogging, what you write on, what type of blogs catch your fancy and above all, why blogging interest you. You are not expected to be an “A” List blogger, what matters is that you must be in love with Blogging.

We are especially on the lookout for Jury members for blogs in Indian languages (blogs written using Indic scripts, example Devanaagri for Hindi and Marathi). We would welcome applications from master bloggers in Tamil, Telugu, Bangla, Marathi, Hindi, Malayalam, Kananada etc (yes we are aware of blogs in Assamese, Kashmiri and Sindhi languages too, but there aren’t many) who read lot many blogs in their respective language.

The fine print: Indibloggies is only soliciting applications for the Jury member, which means that we reserve the right to have the final say, perhaps fairly so, we are looking at under 40 team size. Please do not, repeat do not use the comment space for applying, we will summarily reject such applications. Jury member’s blogs can participate in the voting process, self-nomination is OK to us.
