So instead of having a script to email you the nominations, you could've instead put together a script that could've taken input from a form & inserted nominations directly in the database. Wouldn't have taken more than an hour to put together such a script in PHP(JSP also wouldn't have taken long but I haven't used it in abt 2 years so can't say). IMHO that would've been quite appropriate instead of having nominations derived from del.icio.us as some people who don't have accounts there would've to register(like me) & then see how that thing works.
